2 Corinthians 8-10

God is Able to Make All Grace Abound Toward You

2 Corinthians 9:6-8 But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.

As God makes His grace abound toward us, let us also extend grace toward each other. Let us not judge as the world judges, according to appearances, and let us not judge according to the standards of the world. Neither let us not compare ourselves to each other. All of this is foolishness. Rather let us emulate the grace of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, who though He was rich, for our sake He became poor, so that we through His poverty might become rich. If anyone should boast, let him boast in the Lord. It is not the one who commends himself who is approved, but the one whom the Lord commends. "Let not the wise boast of their wisdom or the strong boast of their strength, or the rich boast of their riches, but let the one who boasts boast about this: that they have the understanding to know Me, that I am the LORD, who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on earth, for in these I delight." (Jeremiah 9:23-24) Grace and peace be ours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Yeshua our Lord. (2 Peter 1:2)
