Mark 6-7

As Many As Touched Him Were Made Well

Mark 6:53-56 When they had crossed over, they came to the land of Gennesaret and anchored there. And when they came out of the boat, immediately the people recognized Him, ran through that whole surrounding region, and began to carry about on beds those who were sick to wherever they heard He was. Wherever He entered, into villages, cities, or the country, they laid the sick in the marketplaces, and begged Him that they might just touch the hem of His garment. And as many as touched Him were made well.

Yeshua healed all; including those with the most impossible of maladies; including those who were Gentiles; including even those who had succumbed to death.  But He was unable to do the same (even among His own community and family) for those who rejected Him and were offended by Him. Yeshua marveled at such unbelief that prevented His mighty works. Our Father, may we never waver because of  unbelief, but like Abraham and Sarah - may we be strengthened in faith, giving all glory to You, being fully convinced that what You have promised, You are able to perform. (Romans 4:16-22) May we believe in the healing and restorative powers of Yeshua, Your Son. For You gave us Your Son so that through Him we might be saved; that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:15-17) Blessed are we who believe even though we have not seen Him. (John 20:29) Even though we have not seen Him, nor do we yet see Him, we believe in Him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for we are receiving the end result of our faith, the salvation of our souls! (1 Peter 1:8-9)
