John 13-14

The Way, the Truth, and the Life

(Days of Unleavened Bread 1)
John 14:1-6 “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know.” Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?” Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”

There is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. (1 Timothy 2:5) There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. (Acts 4:12) Yeshua is the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in Him, though he die, yet shall he live. (John 11:25) If we confess with our mouth that Yeshua is Lord and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead, we will be saved. (Romans 10:9) Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him. (John 3:36) Through Yeshua we have access in one Spirit to the Father. (Ephesians 2:18) Through Him we have obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of glory to God. (Romans 5:2) These things are written so that we may believe that Yeshua is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing we may have life in His name. (1 Peter 2:21) For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not sent His Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through Him. (John 3:16-17) There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. (Romans 8:1)
