The LORD Shall Be King Over All the Earth
Zechariah
14:6-9 It shall come to pass in that day that there will be no light;
the lights will diminish. It shall be one day which is known to the
LORD—neither day nor night. But at evening time it shall happen that it
will be light. And in that day it shall be that living waters shall flow
from Jerusalem, half of them toward the eastern sea and half of them
toward the western sea; in both summer and winter it shall occur. And
the LORD shall be King over all the earth. In that day it shall be—“The
LORD is one,” and His name one.
The angel showed me the river of the water of life, bright as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb through the middle of the street of the city; also, on either side of the river, the tree of life with its twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit each month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. No longer will there be anything accursed, but the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his servants will worship him. They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. And night will be no more. They will need no light of lamp or sun, for the Lord God will be their light, and they will reign forever and ever. (Revelation 22:1-5) Never again will they hunger; never again will they thirst. The sun will not beat down on them, nor any scorching heat. For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; He will lead them to springs of living water. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes. (Revelation 7:16-17) Dear Father, may the day for the time of the dead to be judged come soon, that You should reward Your servants the prophets and the saints, and those who fear Your name, small and great, and should destroy those who destroy the earth. (Revelation 11:18) How awesome it will be when the seventh angel sounds and when heard in heaven are loud voices saying, "The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our LORD and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever! (Revelation 11:15) God speed that day!
