He
Sees All the Sons of Men
Psalm 33 is a reminder that our
focus should not be on the deeds of the wicked in this world but on the
lovingkindness of the Lord, for “Praise is becoming to the upright. Give thanks
to the Lord… sing praises to Him… for the word of the Lord is upright, and all
His work is done in faithfulness”. God looks down from heaven and sees all the
sons of men. He knows what is going on. And nothing happens unless He allows
it. Everything is according to His timetable and ultimately for His purpose. For
the counsel of the Lord stands forever. “Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those
who fear Him, on those who hope for His lovingkindness, to deliver their soul
from death and to keep them alive in famine. Our soul waits for the Lord; He is
our help and our shield. For our heart rejoices in Him, because we trust in His
holy name”. Dear Father, help us to keep our focused on You – on Your goodness
and Your faithfulness, and let Your lovingkindness, O Lord, be upon us,
according as we have hoped in You. Our souls wait for You O Lord – and our
hearts rejoice in You. Blessed be Your most holy name!
