Psalms 102-104

Forget None of His Benefits
“The Lord has not dealt with us according to our sins, nor rewarded us according to our iniquities” (Psalms 103:10-12). “If You, Lord, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand?” Who could stand indeed? Could I even stand before the Lord righteous – at the end of one day? What a merciful, loving God we have, who blots out our transgressions for His own sake and remembers them no more! (Isaiah 43:25). “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool” (Isaiah 1:8). “As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgression from us” (Psalms 103:12). Dear Father, Who is a God like You, who pardons iniquity and passes over the rebellious act of the remnant of His possession? (Micha 7) Just as a father has compassion on his children, so You have compassion on those of us who fear You. For You know our frame; You know that we are but dust (Psalm 103). Thank You, dear Father, for Your compassion and mercy. Thank You for Your precious Son who made the forgiveness of my sin possible. Thank You for Your Spirit changing my heart and transforming my soul. Praise the Lord, for Your mercy endures forever!
