With
the Humble is Wisdom
“The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he who
is wise wins souls” (Proverbs 11:30). What a beautiful verse! As we humble
ourselves to walk in the righteousness of God, and as we get wisdom by applying
the Proverbs in our lives, we not only let our lights shine to glorify God
(Matthew 5:14-16) but bear fruit that wins souls! What an awesome opportunity
we (the children of God) have, to be examples of God’s righteous way and vessels
of God’s love and mercy and hope! Dear
Father, help me to die to the self, that Your Son might shine more and more
distinctly through me, that I may reflect Your love and thus bless people I
encounter each day. May my words and deeds glorify you and draw people to You.
Help me to care more deeply for those who are lost and in despair so that I may
bless them with intercessory prayer (James 5:16). May we (Your children) shine
like the brightness of the expanse of heaven and like the stars forever and
ever because we have led many to righteousness! (Daniel 12:3)
