Romans 12-16

Put On the Lord Jesus Christ, and Make No Provision for the Flesh

Romans 13:11-14 And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.

Let us therefore brethren present our bodies a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God. Let us not be conformed to this world, but transformed by the renewing of our mind that we may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Let us love without hypocrisy. Let us abhor what is evil and cling to what is good. Let us be kind to one another, respectful of one another, deferring to one another and in service to each other. Let us rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, and continue steadfastly in prayer.  Let us rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep, and strive to live in peace with all. Let us bless - and not curse; blessing even those who persecute us.  Let us owe nothing to anyone except to love one another, for they who love one another have fulfilled the law. May the God of patience and comfort grant us to be like-minded toward one another according to Christ Jesus, that we may with one mind and one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah. May the God of hope fill us with all joy and peace in believing, that we may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. May the God of peace be with us all. Amen.
