Leviticus 26:3-27:34

Bechukotai - In My Laws

(Day 35 of the Omer)
Leviticus 26:3-6 "If you walk in My statutes and keep My commandments, and perform them, then I will give you rain in its season, the land shall yield its produce, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit. Your threshing shall last till the time of vintage, and the vintage shall last till the time of sowing; you shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely. I will give peace in the land, and you shall lie down, and none will make you afraid; I will rid the land of evil beasts, and the sword will not go through your land."

Thank You Father, for Your covenant with us. You look upon us favorably and make us fruitful if we walk in Your statutes and keep Your commandments. You promise to prosper us and provide for us. You promise protection and peace. And You promise to walk among us and to be our God. But if we do not obey You, if we despise Your statutes and break Your covenant, You will appoint terror over us. You will not protect us from disease, disaster or destruction. You will set Your face against us and we shall be defeated by our enemies. And those who hate us shall reign over us. Please dear Father, forgive us of our iniquity and the iniquity of our fathers. Forgive our unfaithfulness to You and forgive us for all the ways in which we have walked contrary to You. As we humble ourselves before You O LORD, remember Your covenant with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Remember Your covenant with the land. And remember Your covenant with Abraham's seed. For Your name's sake remember Your covenant with us, that You might be our God and we might be Your people. Forever and ever, O Yehovah our God, may we be Yours.
