Prayer:

The Song of Songs describes love as strong as death, its jealousy unyielding as the grave. It burns like blazing fire, like a mighty flame. Many waters cannot quench love; rivers cannot sweep it away. If one were to give all the wealth of one's house for love, it would be utterly scorned. (Song of Songs 8:6-7) Such is the love God has for us. Nothing can separate us from His love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow--not even the powers of hell can separate us from God's love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below--indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:39) The LORD loves us with an everlasting love; He draws us with unfailing kindness." (Jeremiah 31:3) The LORD our God is in our midst, a mighty one who will save; He will rejoice over us with gladness; He will quiet us by His love; He will exult over us with loud singing. (Zephaniah 3:17) How priceless is your unfailing love O God! People take refuge in the shadow of Your wings. (Psalm 36:7) Help us, O LORD our God; save us according to Your unfailing love.(Psalm 109:26) Let us keep ourselves in Your love as we wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring us to eternal life. (Jude 1:21) Oh, See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. (1 John 3:1)
