Luke 6-8

And the Twelve Were with Him, and Certain Women

Luke 8:1-3 Now it came to pass, afterward, that He went through every city and village, preaching and bringing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God. And the twelve were with Him, and certain women who had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities—Mary called Magdalene, out of whom had come seven demons, and Joanna the wife of Chuza, Herod's steward, and Susanna, and many others who provided for Him from their substance.

Prayer:

Looking at His disciples, Yeshua said: "Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the kingdom of God. Blessed are you who hunger now, for you will be satisfied. Blessed are you who weep now, for you will laugh. Blessed are you when people hate you, when they exclude you and insult you and reject your name as evil, because of the Son of Man. Rejoice in that day and leap for joy, because great is your reward in heaven." Life can be very challenging and stressful for believers and unbelievers alike. But we who follow Yeshua are blessed, because we have hope. Ours is the kingdom of God. Thank You Father, for calling us to follow Your Son. May we walk as He walked and shine forth His light to those who now dwell in darkness. May we be merciful to them: loving those who hurt us, being kind to the ungrateful; returning good to those who do evil. Then our reward will be great, and we will be children of the Most High.
