Tazria - She Bears Seed
A man full of leprosy saw Yeshua; and he fell on his face and implored Him, saying, "Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean." Yeshua put out His hand and touched the man saying, "I am willing; be cleansed." Immediately the leprosy left him. And He charged him to tell no one, but to go and show himself to the priest, and make an offering for his cleansing, as a testimony to them, just as Moses commanded. (Luke 5:12-14) Interestingly, Yeshua hadn't disregarded the law of Moses, but rather by the law His miracle was confirmed. Just as all His works were confirmed by the prophets. "He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: 'He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses.'" (Matthew 8:16-17; Isaiah 53:4) Our Father, thank You for Your Son through whom You cleanse us from all sin (1 John 1:7-9) and heal our diseases. You made His soul an offering for sin and He shall justify many, for He shall bear our iniquities. (Isaiah 53:10-12) By Him, we are redeemed. Bless Yehovah, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name! "Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits; Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's." (Psalm 103:1-5) Bless the LORD, O my soul!
