He Shall Build the Temple of the LORD

Zechariah 6:12-13 “Then speak to him, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts, saying: “Behold, the Man whose name is the BRANCH! From His place He shall branch out, and He shall build the temple of the Lord; yes, He shall build the temple of the Lord. He shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule on His throne; so He shall be a priest on His throne, and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.”’”

Prayer:

The magnificence of the temple that Solomon built for the LORD, though incomparable in its structural and visual beauty, could not come close to comparing in glory with the temple that the LORD's servant, the BRANCH, would build. Descending from David came another who is constructing a far more glorious temple, one that will never be destroyed. And those who are far off shall come and help to build the temple of the LORD. And you shall know that the LORD of hosts has sent me to you. And this shall come to pass, if you will diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God. Yeshua is the cornerstone of this eternal temple. The apostles and prophets are its foundation. And all we (Jews and Gentiles) who are partakers of the LORD's promise in Messiah through the gospel, are being fitted together into a holy and glorious and everlasting temple in the LORD. In this temple the Most High will dwell. (Ephesians 2 and 3) Our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit in us. We were bought at a price; therefore let us glorify God in our body and in our spirit, which are God's. (1 Corinthians 6:19-20) May our Savior Yeshua come soon and sit on His throne to rule the world in righteousness. He shall be a priest on His throne - and then all the world shall at last know peace.
