The
LORD Tests Hearts
I sense that my heart is being tested
daily - in the choices I make and in the way I respond to situations and people.
And it often seems that the same test needs repeated a few times before I
finally get it right. I am very grateful that our God is compassionate and
long-suffering. And I am grateful for the Proverbs. They are so helpful for
exposing areas in my life that need attention and improvement. Dear Father,
thank You for the work You are doing in my heart and in my life. Help me to
receive Your instruction and submit to Your Spirit guiding me so that I may be
refined, and so that my heart will more and more reflect Yours. Thank You for
Your discipline and thank You for Your tender love – I need them both to grow.
How blessed we are for a most wonderful heavenly Father who cares so deeply for His children!
