Your Faithfulness Reaches to the Clouds
(Day 10 of the Omer)
Psalm
36:5-9 Your mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens; Your faithfulness reaches
to the clouds. Your righteousness is like the great mountains; Your
judgments are a great deep; O LORD, You preserve man and beast. How
precious is Your lovingkindness, O God! Therefore the children of men
put their trust under the shadow of Your wings. They are abundantly
satisfied with the fullness of Your house, and You give them drink from
the river of Your pleasures. For with You is the fountain of life; In
Your light we see light.
O LORD, do not rebuke me in Your wrath, nor chasten me in Your hot displeasure! Your arrows pierce me deeply and Your hand presses me down. My iniquities are like a heavy burden; too heavy for me. My wounds are foul and festering because of my foolishness. I am ready to fall, and my sorrow is continually before me. I groan because of the turmoil of my heart. My heart pants, my strength fails me; the light of my eyes has gone from me. Do not forsake me, O LORD; O my God, be not far from me! Make haste to help me, O Lord, my salvation! For in You, O Yehovah, I hope; You will hear, O Lord my God.
