Psalms 16-18

Who Is God, Except the LORD?

(Day 4 of the Omer)
Psalm 18:30-33 As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the LORD is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him. For who is God, except the LORD? And who is a rock, except our God? It is God who arms me with strength, and makes my way perfect. He makes my feet like the feet of deer, and sets me on my high places.

I have called upon You, for You will hear me, O God. Show Your marvelous lovingkindness by Your right hand, O You who save those who trust in You from those who rise up against them. Keep me as the apple of Your eye; hide me under the shadow of Your wings, from the wicked who oppress me, from my deadly enemies who surround me. Deliver my life from the wicked men of the world who have their portion in this life. As for me, I will see Your face in righteousness; I shall be satisfied when I awake in Your likeness. The LORD lives! Blessed be my Rock! Let the God of my salvation be exalted! I will love You, O LORD my strength. You are my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God, my strength in whom I will trust; my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I will call upon Yehovah who is worthy to be praised; so shall I be saved from my enemies.
