Leviticus 19-20

Kedoshim – Holy One

(Day 14 of the Omer)
Leviticus 19:1-2 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, “Speak to all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘You shall be holy, for I the Lord your God am holy.'"

O Yehovah, may we receive the instruction from Your Word how we, as Your holy people, should conduct our lives. Sanctify us as we journey on the path of righteousness for Your name's sake and guard us from profaning Your Most Holy Name. Bless us with Your Spirit that we may consecrate ourselves and be holy, for Your are Yehovah, our holy God. You have separated us from the peoples that we should be Your people. As obedient children, let us not be conformed to the passions of our former ignorance, for as You (who called us) are holy, we also are called to be holy in all our conduct. (1 Peter 1:13-16) May we worship You, O Yehovah, in the splendor of holiness. (Psalm 96:9) May we cleanse ourselves from every defilement of body and spirit, bringing holiness to completion in the fear of God. (2 Corinthians 7:1)
