Exodus 38:21-40:38

Pekudei – Accountings Of

Exodus 38:21-23 This is the inventory of the tabernacle, the tabernacle of the Testimony, which was counted according to the commandment of Moses, for the service of the Levites, by the hand of Ithamar, son of Aaron the priest. Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, made all that the Lord had commanded Moses. And with him was Aholiab the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, an engraver and designer, a weaver of blue, purple, and scarlet thread, and of fine linen.

Like the children of Israel in the wilderness, we are on a journey. Like them we must wait upon the presence of the LORD to guide us. When He moves forward, then so must we. And when He remains in place, likewise, we must stay put. "The LORD, He is the One who goes before us. He will be with us, He will not leave us nor forsake us; let us not fear nor be dismayed." (Deuteronomy 31:8) We shall walk after the LORD our God and fear Him, and keep His commandments and obey His voice; we shall serve Him and hold fast to Him." (Deuteronomy 13:4) Blessed is every one who fears the LORD, who walks in His ways. (Psalm 128:1) My Father, You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.
